Interesting Facts:
- Soy candles burn at a much lower temperature than paraffin candles. You can actually put your finger into soy wax that has been heated by your candle and it will only feel warm to the touch. It will not burn you like paraffin candles.
- Because they burn at a lower temperature, soy candles last up to 50% longer than candles made of paraffin.
- Paraffin candles emit 11 known toxins when they are burned. The black smoke that is emitted by paraffin candles adheres to your walls, furniture, air filters and everything else in your house. While soy candles still produce some soot, the amount is much less-- roughly equivalent to what might be produced by cooking on a hot stove.
- Soy candles actually hold scent a lot better than paraffin, meaning that they'll produce more fragrance while burning less wax.
